Ceramic Filter sponges are developed as a new type filter for molten metal, can stop and filter foreign matter to decrease casting flaw. They are widely used for aluminum, copper, iron, and steel casting applications.

Ceramic Filter Sponges can be used in casting purifying, gas-solid mixture separation, and liquid-solid mixture separation, and can also work as catalyst support, burner and silencer materials.

Ceramic Filter Sponges have the characters of lightweight, high mechanical strength, large specific surface areas, high porosity, excellent thermal shock resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, and high-temperature stability in molten metal.
